Cameo is a funk/R&B band from New York formed in the late 70's. The group was fronted by Larry Blackmon whose nasal vocal style was once likened to "A robot talking with a mouthful of peanut butter" by a contemporary music critic. Still, with his unique vocal style, high top fade haircut, and sporting a codpiece over his pants, "Word Up" zoomed to the top ten of the US and UK charts in 1986. Nasty is a live album released in 1996. This is the promotional CD containing 6 songs from the album. The "Mega-Mix" is a remix of the album's live tracks. Check out the live version of "Word Up"!!!
